We have a variety of services that
we offer that encompasses Basic Life Support and Advance Life Support
that includes the following:
- ABLS:
Advanced Burn Life Support -
Caring for patients with severe or critical
burn injuries which includes 2nd and 3rd degree burns as well
burns over large surfaces of the body
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support -
Providing care for individuals who have life
threatening or cardiac conditions including; a stroke, heart
attacks and other critical conditions.
- Critical Care Transports –
These transports are for any patient that requires critical
care to maintain stability until they reach a facility that
will meet their special needs. And according to the State of
Georgia EMS regulations, a licensed Paramedic is certified to
transport Critical Care patients once they have obtained
certification in Advanced Life Support. The State of Georgia
does not recognize separate certifications for ALS and CCT.
Therefore, all of our Paramedics are certified for Critical
Care Transports.

Long
Distance Transports –
These transports are for relocating patients to or from other
facilities outside our normal coverage area1.
These services are offered for patients that need to be
transported to a facility closer to home or closer to their
family. We will also do these transports for patients that
require medical treatment that may not be available in our
area. Typically, we will accept these transports when the
patient has insurance that will cover the trip or payment will
be made at the time of service from either the patient or a
responsible family member. Currently, our areas of coverage
include but may not be limited to areas across the state of
Georgia, and into Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, and
Tennessee
- Non-Emergency Transports -
Any patient that is not classified as critical but that may
meet the requirements of having the need to be transported by
an ambulance to a hospital or any other facility.
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support -
Requires specialty training of the care of infants, children,
and adolescents. This includes trauma, critical illness, and
other treatments that are specific to their needs.
- PHTLS: Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support -
This is a specialty care for trauma victims, to stabilize them
on their way to the hospital including, intubations, IV
access, immobilizations and life support.
- Thrombolytic Transports -
A specialty transport that is specific for cardiac events such
as heart attacks. This treatment can ensure a better outcome
for the patient that requires immediate intervention to
prevent death or long-term disabilities.
- Ventilator Transports -
Patients who require intubations and respiratory support, and
that requires the know how of keeping the patient oxygenated
to prevent long-term disabilities that low-level oxygen can
cause.
